Hence the Welsh name Tynyllan, meaning “house by the church”. The three bedroom cottage is set in it’s own 1½ acre field on a south facing hillside, with beautiful views across to the rolling green hills of Powys in Mid Wales opposite.There are plenty of local walks and places to visit, whilst the coast is only about 45 minutes away.
Just on the edge of The Snowdonia National Park and south of Lake Vyrnwy, Tynyllan is set amidst the remote and beautiful Cambrian Mountains region. With spectacular waterfalls nearby, and unspoilt open countryside, a visit to North Wales is a wonderful experience for all the family. A short drive from the Shropshire border (The Welsh Marches) it is within easy reach of Birmingham, Liverpool, Chester or Manchester and is the perfect base for exploring Snowdonia, The Welsh Marches and the coast from Harlech to Aberystwyth. Even London is less than a 4hour drive from this picturesque cottage set within the rolling Welsh hills.
